Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen cherries (300 g)
- ¾ cup skyr (200 g)
- Optional:
- 1 –2 tsp honey
- 1 –2 tsp maple syrup

- Blend briefly until the cherries start to break down.
- Add the skyr and blend again until smooth and creamy.

- Taste and add honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup if you want it sweeter.
- Serve immediately for a soft and creamy texture.

Notes
Use the cherries straight from the freezer. Do not thaw them first, or the texture will become too soft.
If your blender struggles, let the cherries sit for 2 to 3 minutes before blending.
Add only a tiny splash of milk if absolutely needed, otherwise the frozen yogurt can become too runny.
Serve immediately for the best creamy soft serve texture.
If you freeze leftovers, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating because the texture will become firmer. The optional sweetener is not included in the nutrition estimate.
