Easy Microwave Apple Oatmeal

This quick oatmeal recipe is ready in just 2 minutes and makes a warm, simple breakfast for busy mornings. Naturally sweet with apple and raisins and easy to prepare in the microwave.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats (40 g)
  • 2 tbsp soy flakes (15 g)
  • 1/2 apple (chopped (75 g))
  • 1 tbsp raisins (10 g)
  • 1 tbsp almonds (chopped (10 g))
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (2 g)
  • 1 pinch salt (0.5 g)
  • 3/4 cup oat milk (180 ml)

Method

  1. Add oats, soy flakes, chopped apple, raisins and a pinch of salt to a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Pour in the oat milk and add the vanilla extract. Stir everything together.
  3. Microwave for about 1- 2 minutes until the oatmeal becomes soft and creamy.
  4. Stir again and top with chopped almonds, extra raisins or fresh apple if desired.
